Randy Caffey, Superintendent My
name is Randy Caffey; I am the
Superintendent of the Laquey School District and would like to welcome
you to
the Laquey R-V School. We are the Hornets, and very proud of our
district,
which is reflected by our school board, staff, and student body. Laquey
R-V is
fully accredited by the Department of Elementary and Secondary
Education
(DESE). We are a fully certified A+ school, and a US News Bronze Medal
winner
in education the previous 2 years. We annually educate over 750
students Pre
School (4 yr. old) through 12th grade. Student success is
our number
one priority. Laquey R-V is a place where students can be successful
with hard
work and a positive attitude toward learning. At
Laquey, we continually work to
improve technology. We currently utilize smart boards in core
classrooms
through the 8th grade. Additional technology is added
annually
throughout the district.
Each building has a building principal,
counselor, and secretary, allowing better service for our students. We
also,
employ a full-time school resource officer. Our
school system provides a variety
of sports activities for the students, including:
HS
Baseball, Softball, Boys and Girls Soccer, Basketball, and Cross
Country. We
provide opportunities to participate in basketball and cross country
for our
middle school students, and a number of clubs throughout all
grade-levels. The
Laquey R-V School System is
pursuant for what is best for our students. Our objective is motivating
each
individual student to accomplish individual goals to full potential,
and
prepare each student for post high school choices. If you have any
